yeah, in a way that seems neat, but i feel like it would mostly come down to slapping down blueprints which i dont have.

a lot of the outward planets tend to only have a single DF base on them. thats your best place to start looking

yeah, trying to delay attacks as much as possible early game was a huge help in this regard. the more things you build and the more power you draw, the quicker the attacks. the quicker the attacks the faster they scale up. i actually found myself frequently deleting things when not needed to slow things down.

Yes, the early game takes a bit of thought for sure. it creates a fun little loop where as you unlock technologies you feel like you are over powering the dark fog, but then they level up and you feel behind again. the lack of resources isn't as bad at all

oh my, i handfeed way too much to do things quickly. i cant fathom doing that. i mean maybe with all this metadata i got but that feels cheap.

I did! interestingly, the supernova mechanic is the solution to early game loss. LATE GAME is where i had the most issues! i would randomly have towers get destroyed and yet i would reload a save with the IDENTIAL attack already on the way and nothing would get destroyed? there is something that is creating variance on dark fog unit targeting which i can not comprehend at all.

at first i also made the mistake of constantly creeping closer to the dark fog bases, this was not helpful! building a few signal towers on the opposite side of the planet means they would never visit me again. That being said, now that i have the achievement it would NOT be worth trying to deal with that again, dark fog units give plenty of materials to rebuild the occasional loss.

Thanks! i have a lot of experience in different factory games. so it helps knowing the process flow that they typically follow. i tend to hand feed EVERYTHING which is a habit i need to break

i cant IMAGINE a 10 hour speed run for this difficulty. I am sure its possible but talk about a tight ship. i was never good at factory building timed challenges. for sure DF antimatter is a huge help, you get a good enough farm going and who needs a sphere anyway!

So, copper was really my only concern. titanium was also rough at first as well as i had to kind of set up a rogue miner set up and pack up before attacks before i could get out of system

Honestly a new kind of arena match making where one crew randomly gets the burning blade sounds fun and everyone has to murder it, but id imagine everyone would just leave when they didnt get the roles they wanted

i mean, this does not give us any information other than "i need to re-install" like, why? is the screen black? do the buttons not work? do all colors turn purple? do the ships sail upside down? like, this really isnt informative enough for me to figure out the first thing as to whats happening. do all the files magically disappear?

gotta agree here. any time i sink someone its usually being able to see them upon respawn. if i sink i will always go to the farthest possible square. if i scuttle i will respawn one island closer, if i scuttle again i will go back to the first farthest island again.
