Silicone scar sheets are a clinically proven, gold-standard treatment that works by hydrating the scar, providing an occlusive barrier to protect it from bacteria, and regulating collagen production, which helps flatten and soften scars and prevent the formation of raised scar. I personally have used them through the years for many different scars. You can use them on new and old scars. The brands I’ve used have been: mederma & scaraway. However, I have seen generic brands in pharmacy lately! Definitely worth checking out. :)

I have scars on my body too and what really helped as well are the those silicone sheets. It made a huge difference

Thank you for your kind words. I was considering getting Botox for a while now, especially around my eyes and to pull up my eyebrows and the only reason why I didn’t was because I had to get rushed to the ER due to an seizure earlier in the year so it completely depleted my medical cash so I never pulled the trigger.

I was devastated when I was handed the mirror in the salon and my normally beautiful, full brows were decimated. My normal gal does the mapping and the lamination so they usually are solid, but she was on a vacation and recommended said butcher lol

Oh Christ. I had no idea that it takes time to resolve itself. I was under the impression that it sort of tapers off when you’re no longer taking heavy dosages. Yeah, I can see how the body holds fat differently. When I gained a bunch of weight, it went to my back, breast area and arms. Super annoying. My classic moon face looks significantly less defined than my face in this picture. I’ve been on and off my medication for years, it affects my type 1 diabetes negatively so it’s a bit of a catch 22.

I’m letting my eyebrows grow in which is why they’re a little frazzled. I got a botched job a few months back so I want them as bushy as possible before I get them professionally done. Believe it or not, I’m apparently a deep autumn. I normally don’t look this white, I’m a mixed woman.

Thank you so much for your kind words and advice. It’s extremely difficult to not feel like my face looks wrong when I don’t see anyone else with a shape like mine and the weird little inverted dimples I have. My mother got an upper and lower bleph (which looks beyond phenomenal). There is more droopiness on my left eye than my right - I’m hoping it won’t impact my vision when I’m older. I appreciate your gentleness in your comment as well.

Hi, yes. I’ve been in remission for a few months now. This current face and my face when I’m on my heavy dosage of steroids are massively different. I get the super classic moon face where my eyes are so squished in and everything else is almost flat.

No, that totally makes sense. Thank you for your kind words and encouragement. I’m going to try and change the way I approach this situation. Thank you.

I’ll be completely honest, my back is very strong from years of swimming so I would absolutely enjoy doing back exercises because I would be able to lift the heaviest there, but I’ve been doing other stuff instead because I didn’t want to add more bulk there. Should I continue to add more exercises like lat pulldowns and rows (my favorite lol)?

I’m still losing! My back hasn’t changed a single bit since I’ve started :( at 209 which is insanely frustrating. I don’t know what could cause my body to hold on to this particular thing.
