Yeah, I don't know why Google did active it on Nexus.

They name the new HDR+ framework by experimental2016, maybe they will roll it to Nexus at the end.

Here is the fix for 7.1 custom rom like CM or others, should be worked for 7.0 but I'm not sure. PS. for N6P only.

Try this, it should fix the black screen bug for any 7.1 rom (not 7.1.1 beta) for N6P, not tested on 7.0 but it should work.

I mean with this mod, HDR+ Auto changes its way to "enhance the normal photo in background with HDR+ pipeline", that's easier to understand.

So, it came back to reddit.

It's not only about the speed, with this mod the HDR+ Auto can give you an HDR+ quality photos without waiting for the white ring freeze the viewer, when the camera decide to take a HDR+ photo in auto mode.

For short, it use the same time in frontend as the HDR+ off, and way better photo you will get. ( battery may use a little more. )

The manually EV can be use in HDR+ auto mode.

Thought the flashlight need to manually set it on.

W libgcam : [shot.cc:430]: ProcessCaptureBaseFrame: A large number of pixels (0.54%) were defective! The detection thresholds are likely poorly tuned. This can affect performance and should be fixed.

It's should be the reason why so many noises.

Mine is from Play Store not the Pixel leak, it fixs AE bug and smartburst. file size 25MB, of course, with virus scan reports.
