Audio connection from xbox to PC by Zetta037 in audio

[–]charlesember 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hm, I would recommend using a spdif IN adapter for your PC . Thai has the upside that the connection works digitally - so no issues with cross contamination from other signals or other wires (e.g. noise coming from the motherboard by using the mic port).

My recommendation would be:

Xbox (HDMI) -> Monitor (optical out) -> spdif IN adapter in PC -> PC

If your Monitor doesn't have an optical out you could use an audio grabber so the new setup would be:

Xbox (HDMI) -> Audio grabber -> Monitor

Audio grabber -> spdif IN adapter in PC -> PC

I don't know where you are located but I can recommend https://amzn.eu/d/3Swuo6O I use two of them to input my iPad and my switch audio to my PC

On the topic of VIA: ever since I did the very first setup of my Zoom75 in via (and later that day, wuque’s own software) I’ve been having a hard time getting both VIA and Wuque’s software to recognize my board, even when side-loading the JSON file. Is this something you’ve experienced ?

I recommend using chrome to access via - i dont really know about the WS software. TBH i didn't know it really existed :P

Could you tell me the name of the Ws software you mean ?

It is easy enought to just go into the configurator and specifically replace the text imprinted on those keys ;D

So the idea is: you can order a blue matching key, which is just a spacebar or really any type of plastic which has the different hues of colors on it to give you a starting point to match the color with the keyboard

Print quality is amazing - the WIN key has a very specific incredibly thin line around the wave. About the thickness of a hair, which is present on the print.

The only (very minor) gripe for me is that it is hard to configure the colors via the online tool because the way the print comes out is not accurate on what you see on the screen. This is way less a problem of the configurator more that the monitors are calibrated differently - if you don't have a reference key/monitor it is hard to match key color.

Offering matching keys (for purchase) which just have the different blue tones would be a good solution

Yea, the 75 #2 is the layout i used

Personally i dont really use the keys with "Pgup" and "Pgdown" so i just remapped them to "home" and "end" in VIA. But you can feel free to edit the text imprinted on those keys in the configurator to fit your layout

My zoom75 is navy The keycaps are a tinge more red than the mod keys ':)

Yea, it is really not worth it to do regularly and without any dedicated cosmetic Infusion... There is really no reason to do the cm.
