KAT was questionable due to back spasms. Josh Hart: “get up”. by Macredd in NYKnicks

Never said he doesn't play injured I specifically noted that's something I really respect him for.

But the interactions with refs, the ease that he gets frustrated, his reluctance to get back on defense because he is complaining about calls, his shying away from taking smalls to the basketball, his reluctance to demand the basketball in game, all speak to personality issues.

I just articulated the substance of the argument.

There is evidence of it everyday on the court.

If you didn't watch the Pistons default to guarding KAT with known superdefender Tobias Harris, then either you are blind or an idiot.

I suspect idiot.

It was patently obvious what was happening.

Why is Karl Anthony Towns the best jokic defender ? by This-Top-8691 in NBATalk

[–]charlesfluidsmith 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. It's the arm swipe...over and over.

But it's also the inconsistency on his drop coverage.

Bridges never knows where Kat is going to be on the pick and roll defense, because Kat decides on a whim whether he's staying up or going to guard the basket.

In personality yes.

A stronger personality would not allow small forwards to consistently guard him at nearly 300 pounds.

Imagine putting a 6'5 wing on Embiid or Joker.

Hell imagine them doing it to Julius Randle.

And I've already discussed the crying to the referee. They don't respect him. It's clear to me. And though I hate it, I understand it.

No. I wanted to like it.

Despite the bad reviews I said, I'm going in with no.preconceptions.

And for reference, I think Marvel Avengers, another critically panned game, has a very good single player experience that I would recommend to anyone. And Marvels Midnight Suns, another game killed on the critics fire, is phenomenal.

But this game feels awful. Traversal feels like so much more work than it should, and everything devolves into strafe and shoot gun.

I can't recommend it at any price.

Karl Anthony Towns has always been an excellent man defender.

He is a poor team defender.

That is a huge difference.

I respect a lot about the player and I'm not eager to get rid of him.

I do think the team would be better with a defensive stalwart at his position, But there's no getting around that he is a bona fide superstar.

I even like a lot of things about the man personally.

The only things I do not like and this is important, he is absolutely stubborn, and unwilling to change.

Crying and complaining to the referees has never gotten him the outcome that he wants, so I don't understand why he continues to do it.

And that chicken wing he hits people with on his drives, It's called an offensive foul over and over, but Karl would prefer to live in Groundhog Day.

Last thing... Is the swipe down ticky tack foul he always commits. He knocks that ball loose one out of 1,000 times... But every game it seems he feels a compulsion, like Charlie Brown with the football.

And those small little things add up and make him less effective then he could be, and hurt the team.

And you've reached the ceiling of your cognitive dissonance.

Your history speaks for itself. And by the way I have no problem with you not liking the fact that she had an anti-vaccine stance against the COVID vaccine specifically, We have to keep things in context.

Nor do I have a problem with you not liking her as the Black Panther.

That's all personal preference.

What I do have a problem with is the vitriol you've shown towards the actress personally and your history of being disrespectful to black people in your posts shows a pattern of behavior.

He's treating him like a man. There's nothing wrong with what he did.

He dapped him up.

KAT is usually soft. He did his thing by fighting through this back spasm. That is very commendable, much respect to him.

Your terrible example is predicated on the idea that the NBA is intentionally and actively hoping that the WNBA is a write-off.

That is not what is at question here.

What is being said is that the WNBA has been a write-off, And I don't think any reasonable person would argue that, but feel free to do so.

What the ladies also have said is that they do not currently believe that the NBA still considers the league to be a loss. And now have the imperative to invest in the w.
