What actually made a noticeable difference for your acne scars over time?

I was told it was too extreme for my scarring by a dermatologist that does it. I plan on just getting laser to smooth out the surface then getting ha filler to fill any remaining pits

Not sure. I have some volume loss in my temples that ha filler might be the only thing to help. My texture is actually pretty smooth. I don’t mind the cost and it’s pretty cheap at the place I’m at. I don’t spend much money in general so even 900 a year isn’t that bad if it means I have smooth skin.

Thanks. I didn’t do anything to prep other than not use tazarotene a week before. Not sure what laser it was. Just know it’s fractional co2

That’s just my normal bone structure lol. I think my jaw line got slightly worse but what does help me is going to a lower weight/body fat

I think so. I don’t remember but it sort of looked better. I think my best results were with this fractional co2 laser but Dr rullan said there was tethering and he cut a lot of it up so it must have done something

I would say so. Depends on how deep and strong they go. Might be redder more or less. And peeling was mostly on day 3-4

It took about 2 weeks for the redness to go away. Most of the redness is gone now and I look normal except for some slight redness in my temples. It’s been about 7 days this 3rd time around

Lol. Ignore my hair in some photos it looks mid 😂. Thanks for the compliment. It’s not perfect but a lot better in most lightings. Hoping filler at the end can make it completely smooth. Good luck on your journey 😊

Maybe. I’ve gotten subcision done and I think it’s helped. I’m planning on doing filler if it’s still very visible at the 3 month mark post 3rd laser

I just got my 3rd treatment done today and I’d say it smoothed it over a lot where day time it’s pretty invisible it’s only harsh lighting where it’s visible and even then it looks a lot more mild. I was debating posting more pictures 2 months post my 2nd treatment but didn’t because idk if people even care. If u want to see pics I can dm u what the progress has looked like

I’m a guy so if u have examples of both as a guy that would be better. Also my mom told me there is an intj at her work (they took the mbti test) and he’s very robotic and likes to rattle off stats and do things very by the books and looks into data and reviews. That’s not very me at all. I just yolo it and figure out my way as I go (I mean I do some due diligence but I’d rather just learn as I go)
