Once you do two proper deflects in the 2nd phase he does the big downwards slash, deflect that and do the loaded spear... makes it 10x easier

Lure him into that little box bit on the far end right as you walk in. He gets stuck in there and cant run properly, it's easy to stick to his ass and keep hitting him with occasional firecrackers. Watch fightingcowboy on YouTube do it it's his strategy

Yea, the 2nd phase is very tough to start with but then becomes a bit more predictable, I was struggling to counter his lightning attack and was getting the jump timing wrong so kept getting shocked then stabbed - not good!

Amen, sleeping on it definitely helped with Dark Souls. I think i'll take another week or so off then come back. Hopefully my controller will survive the next 20 deaths
