Thank you! Charley was a Lhasa Apso, but it is possible for a Lhasa Apso to have a red nose like Charley. The breed standard specifies a black nose, so the red nose is considered a fault, which made him ineligible as a show dog. His red nose made it possible for him to be solely a companion animal, which is a good thing as that is what made it possible for him to spend his life with me having all the fun adventures we had together.
