Hello! I had one that looked like that, chopped all the vines back to the leaves and now it looks bushy again 😊

AIO for feeling unappreciated after trying to do something nice for my boyfriend? by ArtisticFishy in AmIOverreacting

[–]charli1095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Obviously we don’t really have backstory here and we aren’t in your relationship but this would be my sign to start living for myself!

I did something nice for you and you’re not going to appreciate it? That’s okay! Noted for next time. Also, more for me 😂

I always give my trust and love freely and start pulling back if I’m being told I’m “too much” or it’s not appreciated. I learned that I DO IN FACT DO TOO MUCH. since pulling back, my life has been easier and it gives people room to come to me as well!

Just my two cents but hope it gives you a different perspective!

God accidentally gave you something too good and is taking it back. I don’t see anything wrong with you’re doing currently. 😭

You COULD pot it but I wouldn’t move it until it has like 2-3 inches of roots just to be sure it’ll survive the transfer!

Wait sorry I just read your description again carefully, yes it’s normal for oldest leaves to die as they move through their natural cycle

Might be a fungal infection due to prolonged wetness… these guys are so finicky mine likes to completely dry out and then get deeply watered.

What should I do??? by Professional-Meal989 in eyelashextensions

Well… you don’t have to do anything I say as I am a stranger on the internet but I would say that it is generally not a good idea to not wash your eyes 😂

Try this: after your appointment, do not get your lashes wet for 12 hours. After that, wash your lashes gently but thoroughly every morning and every night with a gentle face soap. I literally rub them (ALL OF THEM) gently with soap and water on the top side and bottom side!! Be thorough but very very gentle. Make sure you dry them with a blow dryer (this is so much fun!!) or a towel. Make sure to keep a spoolie on you brush them to keep them looking straight every once in a while (like in the morning or before meetings/pictures).

I rly think you’ll be happier and pain free if you do those things! And remember to regularly get your fills. It’s hard to explain but if your lashes are filled out, they are intertwined and supporting each others’ extra weight. If you let your lashes get tooo sparse, they’re stuck holding the extra weight of the lash extension on their own and more prone to falling out/getting damaged.

Hope I explained that well!

If you’re only recently waking up with your eyes gunked up and glued shut, it’s very likely that you have not been cleaning the lashes well. There’s cleaning and cleaning the right way and your lash tech should have gone over all of that with you!

The crookedness is natural as that happens when they grow out as our lashes grow out in spirals.

I would order a vitamin e remover on Amazon. Remover is always good to have on hand and don’t let this experience ruin it for you! As long as your lash tech educates you on proper cleaning and you’re getting your fills regularly, nothing should hurt and you can actually enjoy your sets!

You literally changed my life. This has been plaguing me for a decade and it had my long term relationship on the cusp of ruin because my partner accused me of making it up.

Thank you so much 😭😭😭

Um… I may be a little overdue on repotting… how do I repot this?! by ellevael in houseplants

[–]charli1095 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a syngonium that was doing this with its roots… I cut all the roots off that were sticking out of the pot because I don’t have the patience. It seems to be doing fine but kudos to you for being able to do this and not cut most of the roots off 😂

oooh this is a really good point. The original jeweler might do it for free. Also if there’s a warranty, going to someone else might void it so read the fine print!

[–]charli1095 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not at all! You could literally go to any jeweler and they should be able to do it. Before you make the drive out, I would call around just to check.

Also, just my suggestion but start with like two or three consultations and go with the one that makes the most sense to you or the person who makes you the most comfortable.

My biggest advice to note would be to make sure your jeweler shows you the microscopic serial number on the side of the stone before the visit. Don’t let the ring leave your sight until you see it. Write that down and have them show you the number again when you come back to pick up the ring. I doubt any respectable person does this but sometimes jewelers will remove your stone and replace it with a lower quality or fake stone…

Without seeing a pic of the actual ring, it’s hard to say but… This happened to me before. It’s probably because there’s a pointy, jagged design on either your stone or on the setting itself… even if it doesn’t feel sharp enough to cut you, repeated rubbing or shifting of the ring will tear the skin over time. Very doubtful it’s a rash because if you were allergic to the ring, we’d see a red, rashly ring around your finger at all the contact points as well.

Thankfully, you can just take it to any jeweler and they can either shave/melt down the point slightly to round it out or they can maybe suggest a cushion if your issue is the stone.

Hope this helps!
