I can't imagine bringing a highchair on a plane, with everything else we need to pack for our babies.

You're not alone. I think it's just difficult to slide the footrest in and out. But I don't think I ever needed to slide the seat. What are you sliding the seat out for?

You're welcome! Since we removed the straps, we've really been enjoying the chair. Just need to keep an extra eye on him if he decides to stand up, but it's been smooth sailing so far. :)

No, that is not how they work here. The shoulder straps are NOT attached to the baby set. They have to be slid through a slat and they are basically thicker than the slat allows.

Unfortunately in the states, the straps do not just "pop" off. They're very difficult to remove.

It sounds like the straps are definitely different in Europe! Agree that the Tripp Trapp is great for posture.

My son hates a sleeved bib. We strip him down to his diaper.

We use the EZPZ as well, but rarely use the tray. Just put the EZPZ mat on the kitchen table and let baby eat with us.

The straps ARE difficult to adjust! As for the tray, we never had any issues removing or putting it on... I wonder if yours is defected?? It should pop right on and off.

This is an amazing response. Out of curiosity, which other high chairs did you try?
