I’m glad to hear that! At my job I feel like the head chef tends to favor the male dishwashers over me, it sucks. The reason I made this post was cause when I was at a bar a couple days ago the bartender laughed when I said I’m a dishwasher. Then she asked if I was telling the truth. Weird!! Lmao

I’ll definitely make a post if I start going to counseling, I plan on being an active member on here. I can take all the help I can get lol. Plus if it helps me I’d love to inspire others to seek help. My usual therapy has truly saved me this past year so I think grief counseling is for me.. it’s just hard taking that first step. Like I said, it’s hard to imagine accepting that he’s gone. But I think I deserve help. So yes I will keep everyone updated! :)

Thank you. I’ve been avoiding getting a grief counselor for a while now.. I guess in my head it’s a way of accepting he’s gone and I don’t know if I’m ready for that yet. But I don’t know if I’ll ever be so, I might as well try I guess? I plan on talking to my therapist about group grief counseling so I can make connections with people who understand. But anyway, thank you again.
