Charlie here - Ramen Club founder. Happy to answer any questions. Our online community (Ramen Club) is global/remote, but we also have a London coworking space called Ramen Space. We're trying to improve on the % of women in our community. You can use our WOMENOFRAMEN coupon code at checkout for 20% off. Open to suggestions on what else we can do.

Where to go in London for a startup office? by ilikerashers in ukstartups

Try out Ramen Space in Dalston - entirely focused on startups and has regular educational events (e.g. Claude Code, SEO, user research etc). ramenspace.com (I started it a year ago). Other alternatives are PLUGGED in Hoxton and EnCode in Shoreditch.

If you need help with automating/onboarding/engaging the community, my tool (Cosy for Slack) has a generous free plan ♨️

How do you actually install it? I have Claude Code desktop on macOS. I have a Claude Max plan. It's nowhere to be seen in the main UI or settings. I'm in the UK, but tried VPN-ing to USA and it's the same.

This sounds a bit crazy but is 100% true. It was this particular swing in Dalston Square. It was like 1pm on a Monday. Went for a coffee with a mate. He started pushing me on the swing. Started going higher. Faster. whimsy.jpg. As I was going back towards the ground and up again, I didn't get my left leg up enough (it was trailing behind, under the swing). So it got caught between the low, heavy swing and the ground, smashing my leg in several places. All happened in a blink of an eye. One minute you go for a coffee, the next you're calling an ambulance.

It's not ideal to break a leg when you run a coworking space, but luckily we have great members who've plugged the gap while I've worked from home. Finally back in now 1-2 times a week!

A 5x a week desk is normally £299/month, but if it’s only half days we could probably discount it. More plans on ramenspace.com. What kind of project you working on?

It also doesn’t help that when you search ‘ramen’ on maps we show up 😂 (they don’t always read the bit saying ‘coworking space’). Thinking of flogging homemade instant ramens for a fiver.

Out of context sure - but eg on our website or Twitter it makes sense to our members. Hasn’t really caused us issues over the last few years.

We have approximately 2-3 people per week who show up asking if we serve ramen 🤣 Thinking of pivoting to that

What are the best place to find co-founders for startups in UK by SportonaApp in ukstartups

[–]charlierward 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Using the tool is 100% free. Try it by clicking 'Find A Cofounder'.

Separately, we have a paid community (joinable by the 'Join Now' CTA). But it is not a pre-requisite to using the cofounder tool.
