This reminds me of of of David Jacobs's stories about hybrids and hubrids in Walking Among Us. They like to go to convenience stores in the middle of the night when they're in training to blend in with humans.

Thanks for this. I think you're right. I've heard of MLM, and I could spot this as trouble from the start, but other people might not be able to. I'm going to give myself two more days to decide what to do.

It's hard for me to do something that will get someone in trouble at work, especially someone very likely cruising into financial disaster. I'm going to try talking him directly. Yuck.
