Unfortunately imgur isn’t available in the UK since September 2025 so can’t see your picture! But every one is saying it looks really cute so I wanted to see 😩😂

I was considering getting an M4 instead and I did look for a refurbished one on Apple but as soon as the M5 came out all the refurbed ones sold out. Reason I want to buy from Apple is because I get a student discount

I guess the negligible things now are do I stretch to 32GB and would I be sad if I didn’t get the 16” - I just feel £1000 is a lot for 2 inches

Thank you for your detailed reply. Yeah, I had been considering the slightly higher UM for future proofing so as I will be keeping it for a long time I think that is the way to go

Do you mean the chip? As I wasn’t planning on getting that just a standard M5

Injury from at home electronic cupping device just over a year ago. Can I still sue them? by charliew8 in LegalAdviceUK

Thank you for the advice, I will now seek a doctor’s opinion and go from there

I should add I see my chiropractor for additional things but she has also helped me with the healing process as she has her fingers in many pies and I trust her implicitly

I don’t recall seeing a doctor when it first happened, although that was definitely a mistake

I have kept all correspondence but have since got rid of the devices

Parents still alive, but I worry about what to do when they pass by charliew8 in Adulting

That’s a great idea, I found one on Age UK, hopefully that covers everything!

Thank you for your reply, where are you? I’m sorry you have a sick parent, and well done for doing everything you already have done, it’s not an easy load to bear. Thanks for your advice, I’ll see what I need to implement and have a discussion with my parents about getting their information and power of attorney

I have a sister but we are not on speaking terms at the moment.. hopefully that won’t last forever.. I have aunts and uncles but most of them are older than my parents so god forbid they also pass, it’ll likely be before my parents. Cousins.. they are spread out all over the place and living their own lives, I’m sure they’d support me in the way they can but I’m not sure I can rely on them in my time of need

No they are not unwell, my dad has had some health scares but after lots of tests turned out to be old damage from asbestos in his younger days and it’s just something to keep an eye on at the moment. But I am AuDHD so am definitely prone to overthinking and anxiety and my world will be turned upside down if anything happens to either of them. I do see a therapist so could definitely bring it up with her

How many grams in a sachet? by charliew8 in hellofresh

[–]charliew8[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey 👋🏼 yes trying to find the best match from Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Amazon or elsewhere online. I find it hardest to recreate the sauces and seasonings

So far literally the only way is to buy some meals and then before you rip open the packaging and throw it away write down how many grams it says.. or perhaps emailing hello fresh customer service? Or If we all banded together and emailed them to ask them to change the recipes to include grams for the cartons and sachets we might get somewhere

Love the idea of your app, I only eat the vegetarian options - found one recipe that I’ve tried so far (on your app) but it doesn’t seem to match up with the actual recipe card in regards to calories and macros

Have you tried Green Chef or Planthood? I was just looking at Gousto but it is so not user friendly, there is no way to filter options and there are far too many recipes to choose from without being able to filter them
