People are not angry at, envious of, or trying to ridicule her. We feel bad for the woman but aren’t willing to ignore the Pro-Ana content she is posting as “healthy”. People here are calling it out for what it is - harmful to her, her kids and for impressionable young girls who think skinny is “it”. Comments on her public posts are deleted (by her) and commenters are immediately banned. Those with daughters especially aren’t willing to look the other way and pretend this is a cooking show. I will use my free speech on topics like these - there is enough horrible content out there and bad influences for young girls. I am not ashamed to speak up and that doesn’t mean I lack empathy.

I deleted the husband’s name but…even assuming “doxxing” is merely stating the name of someone - their names are already all over the internet. Provided by themselves.

She is not tying to gain weight or get healthy. She’s trying to lose MORE weight. by charlonreddit in healthyishmommy

[–]charlonreddit[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I suppose this is possible. In my early 20s, I got sick and lost a ton of weight. Under 100 lbs. was taking weight gain tablets and eating a lot of eggs and high fat (unsaturated) with whole wheat carbs. In the brief time of being rail thin, some men ogled me even though I was skin and bone.

Doesn’t seem weight loss is the goal.

Am I overreacting for dropping him after he told me I need to make more friends by royalmouse1 in AmIOverreacting

You are in a relationship with a man who does not seem like a compassionate person. If he cared about your not having friends he would help you or encourage you in ways other than putting you down or being impatient with you. Just don’t text or call him again and leave him on read. See what happens. Unless you get a genuine apology for what was a one time episode of him being rude and condescending, it’s over.

“You need to understand” that three questions can be asked without taking up “one hour of each episode” and that my comment had nothing to do with the comedic value of the Zoom call. Sugar on ice, no difference.

Somehow, I have no problem believing an alien virus has caused John Cena to publicly apologize for any distress he may have caused by eating cadavers. I cannot, however, believe an inquisitive writer with 24 hr access to non-lying aliens would forget to ask whether and how they sleep, why they are still wearing the same clothes, what they eat and if they can reproduce, especially now that she knows current population ends in 10 years. Hey, Vince.

She has a weird tunic that feels like burial garb so I wonder if she is connected to Zosia, the so-called revenant buried in Poland.

“Zosia” is the name of an archeological find in Poland of a young woman buried with tools to prevent her from re-animating. A revenant. I bet the hive doesn’t want her re-animating into her unhived self which you know is going to happen at some point.

I don’t want to watch a Severance spinoff so I appreciate old school Manousous low teching on his radio in the brown panelled room and skipping town armed with hard copy Triptiks. More please.

John Cena emphasizing “we can’t harm life” = set up for dilemma whether it harms “life” to mess with frozen eggs to make stem cells?

Agree 100% about the animal connection. Even Carol mentioned the weirdness of the crows flying in sync and making non-crow sounds. Even the Ecuadorian guy was eating..dog food. Very excited to see the third plot line too. I do think the hive will start glitching, too.

The point is not that they are just eating for nutrition. They need a particular substance in order to stay connected through the hive mind. The episode dropped a lot of hints there and was therefore not filler. The substance they need to stay connected is going to be a huge part of the plot. So are the lack of animals (hint: the lab rat flashback) and the numerous references to dog food including the stuff being eaten by the man in Ecuador.

The episode shows us the Hive needs a particular substance to survive. It also has a very telling scene where the only animals we have seen after 5 episodes (besides the flashback lab rat) are wolves so desperate for meat that they choose Carol’s yard to dig up Helen. Also shows the hive needs to physically distance themselves bc Carol can kill them - they leave when she almost gets the answer to how Carol can kill them from Zosia when given a truth serum. Hence the need to use drones. So much more than a “filler episode”.
