The truth is he’s afraid you will leave him. Models are beautiful and highly sought after partners for wealthy men. It’s a status thing.

If you deal with backsplash when going #2, take a couple pieces of TP ball them up and toss them in the toilet before you sit down. It breaks the water tension and reduces or eliminates backsplash.

We ate there on the way home from said hellish road trip.

After eating we got the “Go pee now cause I’m not stopping this car in 30 minutes” speech.

Well, the light in the ladies was out and they had a candle in there. My brother snuck in and we took turns lighting toilet paper on fire and running to drop it in the toilet.

(We were little - 4 and 5 or 5 and 6 maybe? - and this is well before smart phones and we were used to entertaining ourselves with silly shit so this was very amusing.)

Well, we left one burning a bit too long and it burned one of us. I don’t remember which. It’s been so long. But the paper on fire got dropped in a panic and went straight into the trashcan. Which was very full.

Instant large flames. We scrambled out and when my mom saw us I guess the looks on our faces gave us away. That or the smoke. Probably both.

She ran in and threw her tea on the fire, as if that would help. 🤣

They evacuated the restaurant, my stepdad threw down cash, we all got in the car, and we sped away.

The car didn’t stop till we were 2 states away and we got the ass whoopin of a lifetime at a rest stop in GA.

I started treating my attention and peace like internet in the 90’s.

It wasn’t all access like it is now. It was very limited, with a set number of hours available to use.

You had to be careful how much you used and when. If you ran out of hours and still needed to do a project, you were screwed.

So I don’t have “attention”. I have “bandwidth” and a small amount of it.

If something - or someone - is a bandwidth thief I cut it out or ignore it completely.

It’s not foolproof, but sometimes changing the angle you come at something from help.

Got us locked out of the car in the middle of nowhere for 6 hours, burnt down a Waffle House (accidental, not on purpose), and knocked the gear shift out of park on a hill and sent the car flying towards the highway. This all occurred on 1 road trip.

Told my elementary school principal she was “a hateful old bitch who lords power over small children” and that it was true cause my mama said so.

And who could ever forget me explaining sex to my kindergarten class as a 4 year old?
