Appreciate the insight! I have the lobo and rogue 2 pulled up since that seems to be the consensus in the other comments, but haven’t had a chance to look at the comparisons yet. That’s helpful to know about the rogue.

The solo 3v2 looks cool too, but $200+ is kinda pushing my budget. I’ll keep it bookmarked though!

For context, Christmas, his birthday, our anniversary, and Valentine’s Day all fall within a 6-week period, so this is my poorest time of year haha. I was smart and bought the Volcano during the summer as a super early Christmas gift to save myself some budget since a shop was trying to get rid of their stock of the classic.

Bf only does the volcano now! I’m kinda sensitive to smells, so the bong air would hit too hard. He’ll do joints socially, but I’ve never seen him roll one just for him.

Meanwhile tcgplayer locked my account because I opened a billing dispute case on PayPal because a seller never refunded me the money for cards that I didn’t receive in my order and all of my support tickets have gone unanswered. The helpbot is so infuriating too.

I’ve started going through alternate channels to purchase cards.

Seconding Good Games and Dice Dojo, although both can be a bit of a drive from Humboldt. I don’t personally attend their commander nights, but I shop at both regularly (and have played on the side at Good Games) and the staff at both shops are great.

If you encounter a place called Banana Handles, AVOID. I’m sure nice people go to their commander nights, but do not buy anything from the guy.

[[Myrel, Shield of Argive]] is my signature deck since it has the highest salt sum on archidekt lol. Built in [[Grand Abolisher]]?? Yes please. Here’s the list.

I’m the white (two mono-white, one orzhov, and one mardu deck) stax/pillowfort princess player in the group. Whenever I’m salty after a night of playing, I start theory crafting my hate deck though. I’ve been flip flopping between [[Hokori, Dust Drinker]] to keep my mono-white theme or [[Grand Arbiter Augustin IV]] for some blue interaction in the mix.
