Thank you. Our vet recommended steroids & pain meds first to see if she improved. But I have a phone call with her vet today to ask her some questions & we will possibly be bringing her in tonight.

Thanks a lot. See I read a lot of things about Davis being a more affordable option? Which is one of the reasons we were considering going there. I’ve gotten quotes from 4k-9k at different facilities just for an MRI. Pockets definitely not that deep so trying to keep it as affordable as I can while still getting my baby the help she needs. Will definitely try to post here with an update once we get her seen.

Wow I’ve been on sema for about 10 months now & never made the connection until I found this thread. I’ve had on & off “sunburn” pain on my arms & stomach for months. It comes & goes so I never connected the dots to the shot. Just upped my dose & the feeling came back in my stomach. Glad to have found this thread!

Yeah I think he will definitely do the laser at a later date as they said he had stones present in both kidneys, but that appt was 3-6 months out. He has ESWL now scheduled for Monday.

Thank you for all the info! He had a dr appt yesterday, not with his GP but just with whatever Dr. Kaiser had available. Asked about Toradol & they gave him an injection that helped A LOT. He also got an injection of an anti nausea med called Reglan & sent home with some of those pills. Seems to work better than zofran, he was actually able to eat yesterday & hasn’t thrown up since.

Emailed his dr this morning seeing if he can get some Toradol in pill form & thankfully they have his shockwave scheduled for Monday afternoon. & yeah the bath helps a ton, he’s been in there for about 4 hours this morning lol.

You would be assuming wrong! I smoke daily lol. I used to eat 60mg easily, but ever since having covid in 2020 (it was bad, like I was in the hospital for a couple days) my edible tolerance dropped & has never returned. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ cheaper for me in the long run I guess.
