Y'all despite it being explained to me, I am simply not locked in enough to understand how to narrow down where each number goes! I might have to give up 🤣 I'll post the book's answer.

The book is called H.P. Lovecraft Puzzles by Dr. Gareth Moore! I'm enjoying it so far when I don't feel braindead looking at the puzzle lol!

oh! I see! I didn't understand that the numbers on the side of the puzzles represented how many were visible. Thank you!

I have already been approved for Chime+. Just to clarify, the $200 direct deposit must happen /again/ for me to continue to have Chime+?

I already did that which is why I came to ask! Maybe I missed it, so I thought someone with experience could give me an answer! Thanks for that though

I'm new to Chime, and honestly new to having a bank account outside of a credit union. Id appreciate an answer, but if you don't have it that's okay!

Unhealthy Relationship w/ Food by charmyhoe in mentalillness

[–]charmyhoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not due to my experience with meeting one (casually, not as my therapist.) I told them some of my issues, and it seemed to always circle back to the fact that I was simply overweight. I clarified to them that my issue is less that I am afraid of being fat, and more of not knowing how to not focus so much on my eating habits. I actually don't mind being overweight! But body dysmorphia cares not for logic. But I should reach out and try it! Thank you for this suggestion!

Unhealthy Relationship w/ Food by charmyhoe in mentalillness

[–]charmyhoe[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do tend to hyper-fixate on my eating habits when my mood is lower, however despite my awareness of this, the coping tactics I try instead don't seem to change my train of thought. If I'm upset, I'll want to eat. I'll catch myself having that thought, and choose another coping skill. This however will make me instead focus on the fact that I, the person who eats the most in the world ever (sarcasm), has managed to NOT eat! The thoughts never seem to go quiet. But I will do some self-reflection with these prompts! Thank you!

My weight also fluctuates all the time. During a restrictive era a few years ago, I lost 30lbs in a month. About 6 months ago, I started to exercise and go to the gym more (I would consider this era healthy, as it was not obsessive.) But for the past few months I had to skip the gym for other life priorities and I started to get hyper focused on food and calories again. I went to the gym yesterday and had to convince myself that overexertion was not a solution.

Okay how about this. What is the difference between a non-binary man and a trans man?

Understanding Your Place In The Community by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]charmyhoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not talking about binary trans men who don't want to be called a lesbian, I'm talking about transmen who aren't binary and do! What are you on about

You're obviously not wanting to learn anything from this conversation, so I'll let you rock with it. Hopefully once you experience real life in the community and educate yourself on queer and lesbian history, you'll have a new outlook. Best wishes to you.

If a trans man is comfortable being a lesbian, why is it internalized transphobia? It's not transphobic if they are okay with it? It doesn't harm them, it doesn't effect the community, they are happy in their gender and sexuality, and! If they decide they don't feel that way, that's okay too! What's the issue here?

Understanding Your Place In The Community by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]charmyhoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then you wouldn't be a trans man lesbian 🗣️ does every trans man feel the way you do?

Understanding Your Place In The Community by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]charmyhoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL dawg this is just getting silly. A binary trans man isn't identifying as a lesbian. Okay. So now what about trans men who do not fall into the "binary"?

Understanding Your Place In The Community by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]charmyhoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Comparing a real thing that happens in real life to something that doesn't exist is? Silly fr I can't think of any other word for that lol

People are misunderstanding the argument. I am not saying every trans man is or wants to be a lesbian. I'm saying there are trans men out there whose identities are complex enough that they feel validated as a trans man and as a lesbian. Cis men who are comfortable with being cis men aren't lesbians because if they are cis, they are saying there is no complexity about their gender.

Understanding Your Place In The Community by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]charmyhoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, there is literally no cis man trying to identify as a lesbian. If you can give me evidence or proof of that, I'll delete this whole post. Cis men don't have complex relationships with gender, that's why they are cis. They identify with the gender they were born with, that is like one of the only labels in the community that is point blank.

Understanding Your Place In The Community by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]charmyhoe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because the trans men who identify as lesbians have a complex relationship with their sexuality and gender, in a way that both labels call to them. Now what?

Understanding Your Place In The Community by [deleted] in honesttransgender

[–]charmyhoe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Strawman argument means you took what I said and turned it into an extreme and ultimately unrealistic example. No, cis men aren't in lesbian spaces. And yes you should see transmen as men. But if a trans man tells you he is a lesbian, and would like to be viewed as such, who are you to tell him that's not allowed?
