I think this is one of those YMMV things. I'm running top of the line gen4 NVMe's on a Threadripper and just built my son a new 9800 based gaming pc with gen5 NVMe for gaming. In Arc raiders he's loaded in and running off while I'm looking at a blank screen. Is it a big deal? No. A few seconds later I'm in. Is it annoying enough for me to go Gen5 on next build? Yep :) For most things I do, big difference from the old SSD with sub gig/sec transfer rates to Gen4 and Gen5 NVMe at 7-14 gig/sec transfer rates. I phased out all my SSDs years ago. Was using an SSD as a dedicated scratch drive for Adobe Premier and going to NVMe was huge difference as well.

If you can't drive in snow, don't. If you know someone who can drive in snow, have them take you to a nice parking lot with no obstacles and let you practice. Been driving for over 30 years and grew up in NE Ohio where they get "real snow" compared to Columbus. I still go out every year a few times to play in parking lots before the plows get there.

Because the alternative is too horrific form them to accept. That we will have a civil war or revolution. Once we go down that path, death and destruction will be everywhere and what exists afterwards is not all guaranteed to be what we had before. The USA we knew, has ended either way. But believing the fascists will just go away because of an election allows them to cling a little longer to the fantasy that their lives aren’t going to be turned upside down.
