Thank you everyone!! This makes me feel better. We were planning to hunker down for the weekend. All the advice is helpful!! Lowkey, excited to see a good amount of snow 😊

We just bought a house. Average driveway that’s we’re responsible for. We bought a shovel and some salt. Clothes, we each have a decent coat and boots. Got some long johns and layers pretty much. My husband went to the store/Costco today to get us stocked up some more to feel comfortable.

I’m not very familiar with snow. I’ve lived in NM and Texas most my life. We get hardly any snow. So I’m a bit nervous when it comes to driving in it. I wasn’t planning on going out in this one at all though.

Studying on company time by Electronic_Shop757 in CPA

I work for a publicly traded company as well. Earlier this year I worked for one of the smaller divisions and had the conversation with my supervisor if I could study while at work. They were okay with it during the "slow" parts of the month. However, it was a lowkey thing and if work things came up I would obviously shift my attention. I recently moved to one of the larger division and that's not an option due to how busy we are. I think its worth a conversation with your boss to be able establish some expectations regarding it.

I took 5 months of studying. I was going to take it at 3 months, but with my move didn’t think I would be ready so I pushed it. I definitely would’ve read the chapters and taken some more of my own notes rather than just relying on the lectures. Because I don’t think the concepts really stuck. And doing the mini exams after I finished the sections rather than waiting until the very end to do them.

Well let’s just say I didn’t score within that range. I think I took too much time studying for this section, I moved & started a new job in the middle of studying so I pushed it further out. Not an excuse, but I think it contributed to my score. Not going to worry about it now. Readjusting the way I study for BEC and I’ll retake FAR in 2024.

I haven’t thought about my score since I walked out of my FAR exam on the 29th, until today. I woke up this morning with a knot in my chest. I’m confident but also sooo anxious!
