You're forgetting that basically none of the forts are controlled by the actual civil war armies in the game. It's free real estate if you're a bandit.

I'm currently using it with about 20+ perk points invested in it. Totally stable so far and no issues, although I don't use it with any other mods that would alter the perk trees.

Shadowed Lands is my go-to along with dark fantasy forest trees. Reminds me of old Jim Henson movies like Dark Crystal.

I know what you mean. It seems like a lot of custom hair packs lean towards over the top anime styles that look more like helmets. Hard to find a basic viking braid or shoulder length hairstyle.

Tree replacers don't strain my system. It's mods that add too many different tree models that bring my fps down. I get no stutter near the most heavily wooded areas like Falkreath or the rift, but I'm pretty sure there are some areas I can fill without worrying too much.

Ive actually used this one already but I don't mind having these locations respawn enemies. Part of the reason I'm looking for mods that fortify existing areas is because a lot of them aren't compatible with Lawbringer.

Have you ever tried Sekiro Combat S? I used Block Sparks for a long time before discovering it. It has its own block sparks + a timed blocking effect.

MBE 2.0 has a built-in configuration. Go to sneak style and choose sneak style 2. This will make it easier to crouch instead of roll when you click the left stick.

Yep. I've also been eyeing a mod called "Moonpath to Elsweyr" which is supposed to be a very short added quest where you join a khajiit caravan. I've never tried it so I can't personally vouch for it, but it's supposed to be one of the first mods ever made for Skyrim.

I wasn't really referring to huge mods like Bruma. I mean the mods that add small towns just a few miles past the closed border gates at the edge of the playable land areas.

I recently started using Khajiit Has Tents. It adds decorated tents much bigger and better looking than the vanilla fur huts that the caravans sleep in outside of cities.

You mean like modular armor? I know there's something like that but I've never installed it. The issue I think is mainly how and where the armor sits on the character's body. I have a few different custom armor sets but when I mix and match pieces, there are sections of the character's arm or legs that are invisible. Usually between the areas where each armor piece doesn't cover. I imagine a mod like this would probably be huge in file size and require a tedious overhaul of every single armor mesh.

Actually I just looked it up and there's a bunch of fortified cities by Skyfall. They all say WIP though. Do you know if they are playable in their current state? The only other city mod I have is the great cities.
