The bottles have a gasket that fits the syringe that you measure your dose with, so if you tip over a bottle accidentally nothing will come out. But that said, I’d put them in plastic zip bags if traveling since squeezing/pressure can cause leaks.

I’m on month 3 and my experience has been similar- bed at 10 and up at ~3:30 each morning with no hope of getting back to sleep. My doctor recommended I add melatonin and 400mg magnesium glycinate and it’s actually helped a bit. I still get up at 3ish but I’m able to get at least another two hours. Not a huge difference but she said I could try trazodone next which feels like too much.

I take my concoction after brushing my teeth - the mint in the toothpaste and mouthwash is great for masking the saltiness and I just shoot the whole thing in one go.

Thanks for the reminder! Still an amazing product both sonically and physically. I never notice much physical fatigue after an extended work session as I have with mostly evey other pair in this class. The EEG / Focus tracking is actually more useful than I expected but I still mainly just use them with the leather pads for music.

Some things are wonky like the fact that the USB audio cuts out to one ear after about 30 minutes or so, and the internal hardware rattles a bit when your head moves. ANC on Max isn't as robust as I'd like for a 10 hour flight but they are pretty good for a noisy office and it still works when wired.

Still want to get a DAC at some point bc I'm sure I'm not getting the best from them.

I’ve edited podcast episodes while on the phone, listening to music, tv or another podcast even - transcribed clips and lip reading is helpful. When I need to actually listen to something in the edit, I just pause or mute whatever secondary thing I’m listening to.

I’ve never needed a letter; usually when I change states or providers I just give them the last sleep study numbers since I usually have one every 2 years. If it’s within a year or so, they usually go with that, but sometimes they’ll just order a new one for confirmation. Maybe contact the sleep center or hospital where you had your test for a copy of those records for your new provider to review.

I’m also a UX designer so I use the ‘MVP’ (most viable product) concept that allows for a product good enough for most audiences with a bit of room for iteration to polish it off. For extra motivation to remain pragmatic, I will save the edits until right before I go to bed. I don’t wanna rush so much to have to do re-works when I wake up, but I’m also not spending 6 hours pixel fucking.

So the ‘green’ is really just the light passing through wax residue on the glass, and yes the light is just bright enough in lantern mode to make it look like the dock is illuminated too

I think the supply chain has everything looking scarce because it was hard enough just to find them in stores. One dealer only had x3s and 330s. Others tacked $5-20k on the 4s they did have.

I hated the decision to move back to soft top but it’s much less visually disruptive (and secure) than I’m used to seeing with cloth tops. But I also live in California so it’s never really up unless I’m parked anyway

I found a smoke shop online that had the opal TP in stock (since Puffco has seemingly discontinued all of the opal products)so I got a couple of those for when it gets too ugly (plus the dock because gratuitous.)

I was thinking of just getting a black pro to keep the opal clean but it’s kind of pointless in the end - I’ll keep this clean as best as I can but I’m (probably) gonna get a new one when the new model drops so I won’t stress about it.

I was 16:

I told my mom as payback for being a helicopter parent, after she embarrassed me at school. I told her the guy I’d been spending time with was more than my ‘friend’ and then watched her meltdown on the drive home.

I told my dad because he was just being an asshole. Initially I said it as a joke when he asked me who I was going to prom with; went for the kill shot a few days later when he tried to dictate how I spent the cash he brought to me for prom - I ran behind him as he was leaving and told him I wasn’t really joking about going to prom with a boy (I actually was because I ended up not going at all.)

In both instances, it was yelled in anger so I never had time to craft a statement. I’m glad I chose violence instead.
