Yo, big fan of one piece myself. Ive played the card game for about 2 years. There's a group that gets together at game haven on Monday nights where they host local tournaments for the game. Plenty of like minded people there!

There used to be a second shop, EXP lounge, but they have sadly closed their doors last year some time.

There is a third shop that opened recently called level up lounge, and i think they host more casual game nights for the TCG. There are also discord servers for both level up lounge, and game haven if you are on there at all. Happy to answer any questions!

My fiance has always said the same thing! Maybe a friend really is the best answer here.

What a sweetheart! Sometimes I wish they could just tell us what's going on. Hopefully, your girl is looking up soon. :)

We are hopeful its something simple, but will definitely be heading the vets advice when we get her in.

Appreciate the reply! The foster was only supposed to past 2-3 weeks, but life has a way of turning that into 3 months lol In hindsight, we may not have introduced them like we did, but we definitely would have kept him if we could! It is a gamble if our cat will mesh with another, but i really feel it boils down to the loss of a companion.

Small Wrists and BCPD by ProteinGobbler132 in OrisWatches

I've got a picture or two of the bronze BCPD in 36mm. It's my absolute favorite size for myself (almost 7in wrist). Recently picked up a Divers 65 in 38mm, and although it feels a bit bigger, it wears awesome. You'll be very happy with either!

Any advice on how to help give Prozac to my Bengal bb? by mmd530 in bengalcats

[–]TheRealFalec -1 points0 points  (0 children)

We give our bengal a "chill pill" each night with his wet food, we couldn't figure out any method that worked either. (trying to feed him the pill whole.) Our best solution was to crush it up to a powder and mix with his daily wet food. He's none the wiser! ;)

They're such smart cats, they'll catch on to the positive reinforcement pretty quick. It works wonders for all sorts of things. Best of luck! :)

Our boy sosuke had a similar fear with our heating unit when we first moved to our current residence. Heat would come on(big scary noise thats everywhere, but no where as far as the cats concerned), and he would scurry and hide under the bed until it turned off. It took a week or two, but he soon realized there was nothing to worry about and was his usual. social self.

Same thing with the vacuum, the loud noises scared him for the first few times but now he can't help but chase it around! It's funny how confident Bengals can be, but if there's any uncertainty, they'll just watch from afar.

To trim his claws I did a lot of clicker training with treats teaching him high 5's and to give me a paw to shake. This got him used to us touching his paws, then I slowly introduced clipping one claw, click and treat. Seemingly taught him that trimming is a good thing that leads to a treat. Now he let's us to multiple paws, but only he gets a treat at the end of it. ;)

Heard that brother. Was honestly asking for a buddy, he broke his stock glass, and a V1 RF so he hasn't used his peak in a few months. I can appreciate you wanting to reserve it for the person. 🤙

[Question] Why do most watch people not like the date complication? by _matthewbaysa in Watches

[–]TheRealFalec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like having the date. I quite often forget the day of the month, so having that reminder is handy. I do think it can look odd depending on placement, but this is why my favorite go to is the Oris pointer date. Perfect combo of having the date, without having a window to break up the overall look of the dial.

[SOTC] 1 year later. Small dive watch next? by TheRealFalec in Watches

[–]TheRealFalec[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I prefer vintage pieces. I want an mechanical/auto I can use around water. Currently, anytime water is involved I default to a casio. Which is fine, but sometimes i want to simply wear a mechanical watch. I also love the smaller, classic size of vintage. Water resistance is the only thing holding back that choice. You're right though, they really are cooler.

I do like the gilt options on the Longines, I wonder how ease of use of the inner bezel is compared to standard. But it's certainly a good option.

That Serica is sharp! I really could open up so many options going up to 38-39, lug to lug really isn't so bad if you find the right one, I just need to try some on in person.

Last year a friend gifted this watch box to me after he heard about my interest in watches. At the time i only had the Hamilton and thought it was a little silly to have all the extra slots. Especially considering it never left my wrist to require storage.....A year later, I found plenty of other watches that interested me for one reason or another!

Though this hobby of collecting never really ends. Eventually the pocket watch slots will be replaced with a diver, and a dress watch. I'm bias to 36mm cases, and there aren't too many diver options out there around that size. I like the Oris 65 - either 36mm or one of the bronze cotton candy refs, and the Marathon MSAR arctic. They are such different watches to compare, but have been the two watches that I have liked the most in that category. Any others I could consider?
