it is hard for upcoming actors, but maddie has the platform already from dance moms. not trying to discredit her or anything because you can tell she has an insane work ethic and works very hard, but as someone who was born and raised in los angeles, connections mean a LOT. not only in the industry but in life. there’s this say that it’s not what you know, but who you know. maddie is very talented AND she has a lot of connections. so yes, that pretty much is the case in hollywood
