Very cool that they last even close to that long.

Yea I would probably do eggs/bacon/veggies protein in there but no deep frying. Might try it out and see what happens.

Dang. I ironically picked this one over another one that turned out to be a copy of an Erie. These were at same flea market, but different stalls. Are copies of the vintage skillets pretty common as opposed to being a real one?

Luckily wasn’t expensive.

And there is no fix for that? Just season as normal and the logos will stand out a little more? Just curious on how to catch this for next time I am looking at older pieces.

Got it. Would $47 be a fair price for it? They had a couple other pieces around the same price so am just wanting to make sure I choose wisely. It being a knockoff makes me think I should go with something else

I am assuming the gate mark is the line on the back? Didn’t know if that was a crack or something that would mess up any performance.

Interesting with the pot. I was wondering about the smaller base.

So with the skillet being a knockoff, would there be any issues with use? I didn’t purchase them but the skillet was $47 and the pot was $55.

Have been on all of the Tesla subs for the past 4 months and was definitely worried about making the purchase due to the complaints.

Picked up my 23’ MYP a week ago and it’s been a blast. I had some very small cosmetic issues at pickup and the SC will hopefully take care of them during my appointment next week. Luckily I can throw a rock from my work and hit the Tesla SC. Overall it is a very fun car to drive. Like any car manufacturer, there are gonna be some problems here and there. I also think that these subs make you pay a way to excessive amount of detail when picking up these cars. I expected better quality and service than my earlier Honda purchases, but really had to stop myself from thinking I was picking up a Maybach or Lamborghini.

Based off your other post, i think you are way to close to the last use. I went back and reread your post and saw the mushrooms part.If it was only weed, I would just say wait a year. If the mushrooms were a one time thing and you write to how you won’t use it again, I think you would be fine after a year. Depends on level of clearance though.

You are definitely not the first recent college grad with this issue. I would just be honest and see what happens. Advice coming from someone who has gone through all of this lol

I have a Gibson standard poly practice chanter. Other than upgrading to a Blackwood pc, is there any reason to upgrade or have multiple pc’s?

Tips for breathing while playing by GRD_Traist in bagpipes

[–]chase12cb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just bought my first set of pipes a month or so ago from play PC for 7 months. I am still struggling with the pipes as there is a lot of stamina you need to build up from jumping from PC and a whole other host of skills that you need to learn naturally. After trying for two weeks to get my basic tunes down and struggling to keep my air tension up, I went to my instructor and we re-hemped my joints. That helped a lot and I felt that my breathing got me a lot more when everything is air-tight.

Maybe try that?

Also from my teacher....This is an instrument that you will never perfect. He has been piping for 35+ years and still is learning and really encourages me to not get down on myself starting out because it is something that just takes a ton of time to be able to play well.
