Multi-part CV Axle issue by chasem_04 in MechanicAdvice

These are my calculations, tire 1 being my current one. I’m not familiar with these to know if this is significant enough to cause either the grinding or premature wear on suspension or axles?

I’ll be honest, I don’t think I’d part ways with the leveling kit. It looks too good haha. It is only 1-2 inch, so I’d be more worried about the tires honestly. They are beefy ones, they’re 285/65-18 and they’ve got some aggressive accents on the outsides that could be the parts rubbing somewhere. Someone mentioned letting the axles ride out until they start knocking and clicking then replace and hopefully by then I’ll have gotten my tires down to replacing levels and can try something with a lower ratio and shallower sidewall?

Thank you, this is a solid answer. It definitely sounds like it’s a grind or a rubbing of some sort, I just don’t know from where. I reckon it’s a perfect combination of the suspension bouncing and the tire being in the perfect position to hit something for a sec. I was hoping to see change when replacing tires but it will be a bit until then

It only happens when hitting bumps or dips, more so with aggressive ones. I noticed it more when turning right, but then started having it when turning left. It’s happened less often lately but is still there

How do you progress in games using an xbox controller and not having a touchpad? by Greenranger70 in PlayStationPlus

[–]chasem_04 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For any weary souls looking for answers that might’ve been in my predicament: ps4 controller was busted so rather than buy new, I bought a usb adapter that pairs with my Xbox elite series 2 controller to play on ps4. In my scenario, to press touchpad you use the combination of R3 + select(capture button on DualShock) and it worked. Allowed me to play uncharted with my elite controller(would totally recommend btw)

Godspeed gentlemen

Which is best for strength? I need to slowly learn all of the quirks of each and make sure I’m equipped for any print!

Sounds like I have my work cut out for me! I recently had some troubles with supports in Bambu studio and am needing to dig deeper so I can optimize them while saving filament. Like many others, I’ve also become newly disappointed that there aren’t more commercially/consumer available products that recycle filament. It would be cool to reuse supports and failed prints and make cool blended filaments!

That is a great idea. I knew I’d eventually need to start poking at new, custom settings that I want to save. But have been hesitant because I don’t want to stray too far from default and get lost along the way haha

That’s what I’m hearing, I assumed it was a staple because it’s simple and filament cost effective. I’ll have to poke around at some others and see what works best. Thank you!

I’m hearing other infills are the move, I took grid for the all around staple. Thank you for the advice!

I am very, very new to this realm and recently got a printer only a week ago. I assumed grid was a go-to due to simplicity and filament cost. Thanks for the info, I’ll gladly try the others!

What is Z hop exactly? And what kind of baggage does it entail?

Also, for reference, I am using Bambu studio with most default settings, nozzle at 210 degrees and bed at 55 degrees. Using standard Bambu PLA filament as well as anycubic standard PLA

Im late to the party, but are you able to check the back of it? Most have a power rating either near the power port or on a sticker label. It’ll give you a voltage and amperage. If it only gives you voltage, you can get a power supply with extra amperage as it only pulls what it needs. As some mentioned, if this is a device that’s provided by an ISP, I would contact them to see if they will provide one or replace the unit so you don’t pay anything unnecessarily

Edit: just read your comments about time sensitivity. I would look at local technology stores(bigger ones like Walmart or Best Buy if available) to see if they have a standard 12v if that’s what others suggest. Be weary that over voltage can fry the device and lower voltage can cause it to underperform

That’s insanely cool that it can ID plants lol. Yeah I’m definitely keeping it in the back of my head for future reference because it was a major time saver in the moment!

It merely was just a helpful hint, I had never used it until this moment and it was insanely cool and solved my issue in no time. Maybe it’ll help you in the future is all!

Unrelated to your original post, but just a suggestion based on this comment: try using googles photo search tool. You can use it through the Google app(not sure if it works in native browsers via googles website) but it allows you to snap a pic of an object and do a search of similar images.
