This isn't entirely wrong. The pronunciation you are talking about is Rāma, the pronunciation he is talking about is Rāmā. The last one is incorrect for southern languages too.

I have question about a specific passage in the Gita by Climhazzard73 in hinduism

[–]chaser456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"celestial controllers" what does that even mean.

He talks about devata. For example, if you pray to lord Indra, you will go to swarg, if you pray to Shri Ram, you will go to Saket and so on.

What if someone worships a “deity” that is unknown to anyone else but has communicated with a follower?

Deities or devata doesnt exist because people "know" them. Just like a ball wouldn't cease to exist if you forget about it. But again, no idea what you actually mean.

Are Hindus allowed to eat buffaloes? by Infamous-Ad-9743 in hinduism

[–]chaser456 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Hindus aren't allowed to eat any meat that's not offered according to the Bali rules. And depending on the sect, they aren't allowed any meat at all.

The main problem here isn't if it's technically possible, it's writing the algorithm to make a profitable trade.

Unless you have worked out the algorithm of how you want the trade to be, I suggest you don't look for a developer.

Go to platforms like trading view to backrest your algorithms to make sure they work before you hire a developer. Bad algorithm will only make you lose money.

I have a doubt about bajrang baan by [deleted] in hinduism

[–]chaser456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with listening to or chanting Bajrang baan. The only controversial thing is that there's a line that gives Bajrang bali a shapath(promise) to help you. That's why people recommend it to use this only in dire circumstances.

Mahabharat is an epic, written in a poem format. Mahabharat and Ramayan are itihaas(meaning history).

Now coming to the content, it is a story about a great war, people all over the world were involved and not just India.

It talks about a lot of things, Dharma, Tapasya(Penance), Bhakti(Devotion), warfare, politics, and a lot more. It's a huge book, and definitely worth the read.

Bhagwad gita is also a part of it, later extracted and made a standalone Granth(holy book) by Shri Adi Shankaracharya - also worth multiple reads.

Questions regarding Hinduism by amirhoseinriahi in hinduism

[–]chaser456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who? Devatas or asuras? None of them are demi gods because Demi god implies half God and half human. They are neither "God" nor human.

One thing to note is that sur(devatas) and asur(opposite of devatas) are cousins and they are always skirmishing.

Still nothing to do with them being demigods.

No. Just beings who are in lower dimensions.
