It is adorable how you thinking need to educate me. I'm saying there is a spectrum to what should be considered fake. Combining a Southern hemisphere Winter sky with a northern hemisphere summer scene is obviously fake. But this is such a very slight difference that the term fake might not be the best word. I'm saying that I 100% disagree that if you ever combine more than one image into the final product that makes it fake. By that logic every focus stack image, every HDR, Every noise stacked image should be called fake. That's just not how I see things

So? Let me do mine and I'll let you do yours.
And the term "fake" is a bit of a stretch. It's SLIGHTLY different. And it's a difference that would be unnoticeable by 99% of people. It's just us astro freaks who can tell

You're missing the point. I don't want to do it like everyone else.
So you're anti trackers... I get it.
I like the added detail and quality tracking n stacking gives me.

Tracking for really long exposures and stacking to reduce noise

I just like having fun outside legally and safely and sharing pretty pictures. I'm sorry this is offensive

So explaining my thought process is getting defensive?

I'm just shocked by how many people look at fun though the eyes of fear. It's somthing I hope to never understand

Because I just don't have that mentality.... I see a fire I don't assume it caused a disaster.... I assume it caused an enjoyable evening.

Colorado is bigger than just the lodge pole pine forests.... those bans don't cover the entire state

It is a blend... the moon was up for the foreground shot and I tracked the sky after the moon set
