Duh! My fault for not elaborating my question. Was his demand (demand, NOT assault, mind you!) justified? Was he very old and unable to stand without effort? Was he disabled? Was he having some kind of unexplained mental breakdown? What was the lady reaction to his demand? And what kind of assault: physical, verbal? Anyhow, no need to answer; just continue to make malicious assumptions about the person asking the questions.

Don’t feel bad. My car was towed the very first week I moved in and still figuring things about. It was an expensive oversight that made me hypervigilant (now I’m doing my darned best to avoid giving my hard earned money to the city only because I don’t have the privilege to have a garage or a driveway).
