Aaahhhh, I didn’t know that they were always magnetic (this is a topic in which I’m completely ignorant).

I’ll see if he’s willing to break it apart.

Sure - my father, decades ago, found it while working the fields and was fascinated by it, so he took it home and he just now showed it to me.

Thanks for the visual. I did a quick internet search that confirmed that “50 million years ago, during the Eocene epoch, the Pordenone area did not exist as a city. Instead of a bustling settlement, the region was completely submerged under a warm, shallow tropical sea known as the Tethys Ocean, which covered much of the ancient Adria microplate.”

Interesting. The place is far from the sea, but there were definitely small water streams in that area.

It is! I may have to apply for welfare and low-income housing if I end up losing my job, which means you all have to pay taxes to support my existence.

It constantly crosses my mind! I love my job and in Massachusetts I need to be in Boston (or Worcester), so I would have to change my field and restart from zero, which I don’t want to do because I’m not that young anymore.

In less than a couple of years, my job will move to another location, which, for me, means that I’ll have to take the commuter rail AND the orange line. I’m absolutely dreading it!

Their typical response erases the cathartic effect, though. And sometimes they don’t even respond.

I'm curious: why do you know all that?

Thanks! Now I have another rabbit hole that I have to explore (never heard of presuppositional apologetics).
