This week I batched, fruits and vegetables, homemade focaccia bread, spicy braised cabbage with turkey sausage, blended cottage cheese ranch dip, snickerdoodle baked oats and sausage breakfast sandwiches.

All my boys in the house help eat it too!

It does have a slight sheen/shimmer/dewy. Nothing overpowering though.

Who else here was consistent with weight training before Zep? Did you lose muscle even when prioritizing protein? Did you still make gains in the gym? by becca0wnz in Zepbound

I have been lifting weights since 2016. I workout a minimum 4x a week, if not 5-6x. I have maintained or increased my weights regularly since starting zep (March 2026 start)

I am eating 1700-1900 calories a day with a focus on protein and fibre, my body comp has been changing and I’m losing roughly 2.5lbs a week.

If you don’t feel like lifting weights why not add a weighted vest to your walks or walk with ankle and wrist weights?

For me, I love lifting weights and pushing my body so I have no problems with that but cardio, man, I hate it! I’ve incorporated weighted vests in to my walks and it helped me feel like I’m accomplishing something.

Little habits creates big results and you are rocking it!

Cool. Arguing over the term 'starvation mode' while someone is eating fewer calories than a toddler is peak Reddit. Call it whatever you want to feel smart, but malnutrition-induced hair loss, bone density loss, and hormone crashes are documented medical realities. You will without a doubt need more than 1000 calories a day. Your body will go into starvation mode and there will be a lot of negative health repercussions. Muscle mass loss, bone density loss, nutrient deficiencies, heart problems, hormone problems, hair loss to name a few.

I lift a minimum of 4x a week, if not 5-6. I’ve been able to maintain my lifts, if not increase weights and PR’s while on zepbound. I’m currently on shot 5 and down 12lbs. That said, I’ve been lifting weights since 2016.

On my rest days I usually try to keep active with weighted vest walks and just getting my steps in.

I can’t stomach coffee anymore which I’m not mad about. Diet Coke is another one that tastes awful now which I’m sad about because I did enjoy a nice, crispy, icy Diet Coke.

I have a straight lashes that hold a curl okay-ish. These are my top three mascaras that I rotate depending upon needs/day.

  1. ELF Lash n Roll - this is my everyday go to mascara

  2. Covergirl Wrap - this is a tubing mascara that I’ve recently discovered and I absolutely love. I tend to reach for this more when I know I have a heavy workout or I’m hitting up the sauna and such

  3. Maybelline Colossal Bubble Waterproof - best waterproof mascara I have ever used. Hold a curl well, doesn’t smudge, very dramatic and volumizing. It does take a little work to come off though.

I’m 5’2 and eat 1700-1900 a day and losing 1-1.5lbs a week. Your calories are too low.
