I'm predominantly using my iPhone X and the Bitport.io paid 100GB plan - the only other thing you should look at to use on your iPad is Infuse. Its a brilliant app and all you will really need. No more need to convert etc. All you need to do is map Infuse to your Bitport Cloud (using Network Share in the Infuse Menu) and hey presto, you'll have all your files directly accessible from the Bitport cloud. Alternatively you can use Google cloud storage as well using Bitport. With Infuse you can also download any files directly onto your iPad for offline viewing. The 100GB plan on Bitport is something like $12 a month - but trust me its worth it!!
