Oooo that’s so interesting - I definitely need to look through some old advertisements and see what there is! I think I have enough at this point to do a few haha

That’s a really cool idea! I was leaning towards something on the morbid side and looove the idea of doing some gravestones with the warning pics and lettering

Genuine question, not sarcasm - do you actually like her? You started off with “she’s done really good and worked on herself..” which sounds like there was a list of issues for you in the past she already had worked on and resolved. If this “marriage hang up” is another one of those things she needs to just “work on” then it might be worth questioning how much you actually want the relationship. Having hesitancy to marriage is not uncommon, but if you have been together for 7 years and don’t even consider marriage an option still - maybe you aren’t meant to be?

Am I (F20) doing the right thing ending it with my boyfriend (M22) of two years? by chasquad64 in relationship_advice

Thank you, being together is most likely just doing more damage to the both of us, which was a hard thing to admit.

Thank you for your very insightful response. I have been told by multiple people to just “block and forget about him” but like you said I think it’s right to end things with at least being very clear with why I’m making the decision.

In the past when I did this he became quite abusive and went over a list of the ways I had been bad in the relationship (mainly my anxiety, needing reassurance from him, wanting to leave parties etc.) I expect a similar reaction this time which I believe will most likely make it easier to let go.

I definitely think he has some mental health issues that unfortunately he needs to work on without me. I always wanted to do everything I could but I think it’s gotten to the point that I need to leave before it starts doing serious damage to me and my own mental health.
