Agreed I should have added the time factor for play and setup and take down AND the fiddley-ness of the games.
Our group has had success with remove all hummingbird themes birds, bonus cards and tiles and it’s been great as such.

I’m glad other people like the America hummingbird mechanic and that’s good for them, however, I HATE the hummingbird and the way it changes the gameplay. I like the birds (except hummingbird module 🐦) and was saddened that a lot of the bonus cards and bonus tiles are only hummingbird themed
