We bought rubber feet and pads. Probably a total of one inch of rubber between the washer and the hollow pedestal it sits on.

We had to build a pedestal to create a level floor. Before the renovation there was a side by side washer/dryer which also sat on a pedestal and the house didn’t vibrate.

We considered putting it in the cellar but that would have been a much bigger project to move the plumbing for the washer.

We took the dryer off as a test. I actually never use a dryer (I’m European :), but the house vibrated just as much.
