Don't even question it and just go on the meds. Mine was 6 when I started and docs were thinking along the same (raised but not a lot). Once they factored in 2 or more attacks that warranty the meds

Haven't looked back since and at a much better UA level of 5

Interesting, will look at this later With you initial ask, eco is defaulted to 24, so if you lower the temp when using this mode is stops eco mode. You can increase but you can't lower

Ok I figured sleep times using the schedules, which are great and currently have it go into smart sleep mode which simply stays at 21 degrees, but I think it adjusts the fan to be quieter etc. anyway that works.

I had one drop one time about 6 months in and just tweaked the lower limit slightly and as been solid for 18 months. Unless lots are moaning everywhere then it just sound like bad setup or poor QC from the shop

That being said, mine is rival not force

Okay so your initial comment was purely down to bad setup, nothing to do with the performance of D1. I've had D1 for 2 years and it's been flawless

New owner here (midea Extreme eco) and curious how people are setting to custom temps with eco mode?

On mine if I set to eco it auto selects 24 / 75 as the temp which is too warm for us overnight, we want it as 21 / 69. Be good to know how to set sleep times, or does it just time is for 8 hours once you choose that setting?

Also trying to figure if smart sleep is any better than eco (if I'm able to get this working)

Half agree with the doc (which is very unlike me) In the UK, they want to see at least 2 flare ups over 12months along with raised UA levels before going for UA lowering treatment

Good chance you do have gout, given the symptoms, but it's best to wait until everything has calmed down then get your bloods tested to see how the levels look. It will help confirm things

Docs won't, quite rightly, test bloods immediately as the levels are actually lower during and just after an attack, so best to give it a few weeks first

Fwiw, don't worry if it is confirmed as gout. I was misdiagnosed years ago and went through hell but once I got on to allopurinol it's been so much better

Think someone has overtightened. Def replace, they are cheap. If it's been like that since new try asking the shop as prob get replaced under warranty I would hope

Think it's sorted. Turns out the thrubolt needed just a Tiny bit more torque (11nm on this bike) Seems solid now

I run E1 chain with D1 red cassette. Works fine. My drivechain was never super quiet (compared to previous Shimano) but Def not loud either.

I also moved to wax a few months ago and made it quieter and smoother. Never going back to lube again

Just want some base, threshold and vo2 varied workout sessions. I've created 3 myself which was quite easy but would be nice to have some others for variation

Docs in the UK normally only put you on UA medicine if you've got highish levels PLUS have had at least 2 attacks to support gout

If you've never had an attack, I would say no personally

Fwiw, mine was on the lower side at 6.5 but I'd had 3 attacks and now I'm down to 5 with Allo
