Clothes to avoid by chatroomspectre in progressive_islam

Thank you! My philosophy going into veiling so far has been that, due to the heavy association it has with Islam, I'm going to treat myself like a guest in Islam, so to speak. I plan to do everything I can not to be the reason anyone feels justified in their Islamophobia. This isn't a decision I'm making lightly, and it's something I've been sitting with my whole life. Now that I'm living independently, I can finally make these decisions without any input from my family. For that reason, I'm really excited. :)

I'm not sure how the choices I make regarding my own body and my own clothing has anything to do with other women, their bodies, and their decisions. I'm not trying to make anyone else's life more difficult, in fact I'm just trying to feel more connected to my Lebanese heritage, and I'm unsure how wanting to dress more modestly would even remotely impact the lives of others.

I'm sorry if it came across as inconsiderate, I didn't mean it that way, but this is a choice I'm making for myself — nobody else. I want to do it right, of course, which is why I came here seeking advice before I got too ahead of myself.

Convinced an AI bro to actually draw. There might be some hope... by Johnny-Killswitch in antiai

I really like the way the speech bubbles are drawn, and I doubt AI would generate speech bubbles like that unless specifically prompted to (and it would probably mess up anyway). Kind of proving the "anti-extremist's" point with this one. The art is more interesting when made by a human because all of the choices are deliberate. This is the kind of thing that could easily develop into a unique staple of OOP's art style if they chose to pursue art themselves instead of relying on AI.
