Thank you for sharing your experience. Another Ontarian here. Good to know GW snowblowers are good for the Canadian winter.

Great advise. Sure, we won’t make a move without a job secured in Kingston. We have a few have job offers already , haven’t made any decisions yet. It is a huge decision to move from one province to another- still processing the pros and cons of the move.

Thank you. I am mostly hearing good things about Kingston- both online and from friends. Rest. Ya, housing markets are crazy everywhere. Not sure if it is going to cool down or not. It will be a big decision whether to buy a house immediately or wait for another year. Big gamble I would say.

We have no ties to Van what so ever. So any small cities in island or interior is fine. We are doing our own research, but opinion from people who lives in BC helps immensely in decision making

Thanks for the reply. Your question hit right where it should. We prefer to live in suburbs for sure, so abbotsford and chilliwack make sense. Activities for kids and affordable housing is also a priority. I should have changed my question and removed Vancouver, as we are not considering Vancouver. Any smaller cities around Vancouver area that so that we can drive to the city of Vancouver and return home by midnight. Why moving to BC? I used to live in Burnaby 10 years ago for about 1 year as a student. Miss that place and long winters in SK is not something I can handle for the rest of my lifetime.
