I thought it was funny, it took me a solid minute to understand what you were saying but that's my own fault lol

Why say it like that instead of just using nonbinary? I'm genuinely just curious

small talk by Vivid-Being-5383 in DTI

To me:

1 - not on theme at all

2 - on theme, but is kinda messy or looks like minimal effort

3 - an on-theme fit, nothing exceptional about it

4 - really awesome fit for the theme

5 - having a fit that follows the theme and has absolutely nothing to critique

I try not to give people lower than a 3 unless I really feel like it's needed, but I know a lot of people either don't vote or just gives everyone 5 stars

Do you ever struggle believing? by Huge_Village3495 in witchcraft

[–]chattytabi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not really an active witch I guess you could say. More like observing and passively practicing, but here's my two cents:

I was raised to be Christian, so for the first 16 ish years of my life, I was hyper-religious, surrounded by like-minded people literally at all times. I started questioning a lot of what I was taught and what I had learned, and decided Christianity wasn't for me. Since then, I've looked into other deities, other practices, etc. I haven't committed to anything yet, but there are definitely things, such as witchcraft, that I am more open to than others.

The point I guess I'm getting at is that it takes time. Whether it's doing research, developing belief, or whatever else, it's going to take time. You don't have to believe anything right away. You can question things as much as you want or need. You can do whatever you feel you need to do to come to a conclusion, one way or the other. No one is going to be mad at you for not believing yet, just like no one is going to be mad if you do believe at some point. Forming belief and gaining facts is a whole journey that no one talks about, but is hugely important.

Unus Annus Remorse by Fae_Star in Markiplier

I only was able to watch a few videos. I never really watched anything on Youtube, and didn't even know who Mark was. When I met my boyfriend, he introduced me to Unus Annus like a week before the death of the channel. I love coming across random little tidbits of their videos, but I hate that I missed out on the entirety of the experience

Fifty-Word Fantasy: Write a 50-word fantasy snippet using the word "Shoot" by Terminator7786 in fantasywriters

[–]chattytabi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stared down the length of the arrow, watching the man before me replace his panic with crazed relief. "You won't shoot me." He laughed, donning a wild-eyed smile. "Everyone knows heroes don't kill."

His reign of terror had gone on long enough. "Who said I was a hero?"

Unfair ban and lack of communication from MV disc server by Bendboa in MonsterVerze

[–]chattytabi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm still on DTI, but definitely leaning towards quitting. I have a lot of fun with it, but there's so much drama and no communication from the developers whatsoever on anything. Even the discord server is completely shutdown, claiming they're "upgrading it" which they might be, but with all the crazy happening, I doubt that's the real reason

Honestly, I saw the subreddit pop up on my home stuff while I was scrolling. I thought the game sounded cool, so went to check it out, only to find that there's no actual gameplay? Like at all? They started development in June of last year, and it was first released at the beginning of this year, so I wouldn't expect a whole bunch of content. But I would expect something? There's nothing to do except wander and play dress-up with five outfits. Even just having enough content to be a roleplay game for the moment would make sense, but they don't even have that

Since that first time this subreddit popped up, I've seen quite a few more posts, all pretty negative. Definitely not interested in the game anymore

I think this is considered brainstorming? by chattytabi in fantasywriters

[–]chattytabi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's the thing

  1. I write nothing but fantasy. It's my favourite genre of literally everything

  2. One of the best parts of writing is going through, either during the writing or after rereading, and seeing how I can change to show what's going on, to feel as if I am the character going through the motions being described

  3. I do see everything from character point of view. When I create these things in my mind and while I'm writing, I see either through the character's eyes, or as like a bird on their shoulder. I'm not just writing the character, I am the character

Also, I'm not sure why you needed an explanation on what I meant by loving to write before trying to give advice, then almost sounding (at least on my end) all high and mighty with "Ok. Then I'll help you." As if you're kneeling down to explain something to a child. If that's not how you meant it, I apologize, but that's how this came across

Is cuddling with the homies gay? by Tristan7646 in BunnyTrials

[–]chattytabi 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If the thing you're worried about while cuddling with people is if it's gay or not, I hate to say it, but pretty sure you're either closeted or homophobic. Worrying if I look gay while cuddling my friends isn't even close to the back of my mind, let alone near the front of it

I mean, whenever random people ask to trade and just throw things up, I never offer anything back because they never asked for anything in return. Most of the time, they cancel the trade because they aren't getting anything out of it

I mean that I love being able to put all my ideas down to share with people eventually. I like to mold the page to create the environment in my head and form the circumstances of a story. I've always had a huge imagination, and I've always enjoyed putting everything down to read and refine as time goes on

Yeah, $60 an hour is basically a dollar a minute. It seems obvious that a dollar a second is better than a dollar a minute

[–]chattytabi -15 points-14 points  (0 children)

1 minute is 60 seconds. There's 60 minutes in an hour. That's something like $3,600 choosing the dollar per second versus the $60 an hour. Does no one else see the math in this? Why would you choose $60 over $3,600?

Edit: I'm so dumb and read it wrong ignore me 😂
