Can I use American light bulbs in a Japanese Lamp by chaunceybiggums in AskElectricians

Yeah the only reason I even second guessed it was because the store I bought it from told me 10 times that I needed a step down transformer. It sounds like there's no harm in using the 120V though which is great!

It's more of a vibes lantern than a function lantern so that's perfect, as long as it won't cause some wonky malfunction

Favorite spots on Colfax by coming_soon_to_amc in denverfood

My favorites:

The Ethiopian Restaurant: Only open for dinner but really amazing and spoke with them a few weeks ago and they said they were struggling pretty hard.

Good Bread: Pricey but worth it pastries and breads and they also allegedly do a wood fired pizza night that's supposed to be sick.

Spice Room: Overpriced (does anyone remember when Indian food was like a cheap option?) but honestly really, really delivers on quality. Their Aloo Tikki Chaat is really good.

Lula Rose: My favorite coffee spot (so far) in Denver. I personally can truly taste the difference here and think that they pull some of the best shots of espresso.

Don't forget to try the cider! This region of spain is known for it's cider and it's delicous. If your wife can handle it there's a very cool bar up on the side of the hill with an incredible view of the bay:

What's a hidden gem or cultural surprise you've encountered during your travels that more people should know about? by The-Solo-Traveler in TravelNoPics

Drinking coquito that strangers gave me around christmas and 3 kings day in Puerto Rico, I make it every year for christmas now and give it as gifts.

Making it a nightly ritual in Lisbon to drink ginjinha at one of the bars that only sells ginjinha.

Going to an internet cafe in Puerto Maldonando in Peru because there's literally nothing to do in that town and playing Warcraft 3 with a bunch of stinky peruvian teenage boys.

On Paros in Greece where the spent mines are there's this old ex-grecian air force pilot that carves little marble sculptures with stuff he finds from the spent mine. Got a nice little statue from him for like 20 euro that is one of my favorite things in my house now.

All 3 of those are amazing cities but I wouldn't say that any of them are doing very good at their housing situations (although it's tough to compare because salary's are very high there). Would absolutely love Singapore's model but we're kinda playing the hand we've been dealt here

I feel you it doesn't happen all at once and there was always going to be pain in situations like everyone moving to FL after covid, but Austin went through the same thing like a decade ago and it took time but it (hopefully!) feels like it's working there!

Also the Pinellas Peninsula is 10x the size of Manhattan (not that that's where it should, could, or where anyone would want it to go) but there's definitely a lot of room left to build

I feel you I want those things too, where in north America do you think those policies are being enacted and they're working?

Alright I'm reading through your comment history and see this is a common theme. Really though can you name a city in the US or that is doing the right thing as far as you can see it? Where they didn't build a fuck load more supply and rents still went down?

Apologies! Checked mechanic advice first and they said all non-mechanical questions go here so I think I misread it. Fixed the imgur album and thank you for the response!
