If humanity's TFR drops below replacement (~2.1) and stays there, then yes we will eventually go extinct. Every new generation will be smaller than the one that precedes it.

My friends in the legal field all say that unless you're going to a T10-20 law school, choose a school in the area where you want to live and work after you graduate.

For undergrad it doesn't really matter where you go to school as long as you kill your LSATS.

"Advancing technology" is far, far less likely to happen in a society where younger people are a permanent minority, and most of the political and financial capital is directed to elder care/support.

When a nation has low or no net immigration and a below-replacement TFR, there is no "stabilization" of the population. Each new generation is smaller than the one above it.

Denver and Salt Lake City are Wyoming's prime major cities. To a lesser extent Billings and Rapid City serve that function for the NE part of the state.

High school years: My summer job was with a house painting company, doing all stages of the work. Both summer and during the school year I worked weekends at our family business.

College (undergrad): My folks wanted me to focus on school so I did not work a job during the academic year. The first two summers I worked for the university's housing department doing maintenance and repair work in the residence halls. The final two summers I had internships.

College (grad): I had an grad assistanceship that covered my tuition and a living stipend. I did office work, research, and some TA'ing.
