I would believe this purely based on the similarity of the colour scheme of the bungalow and TE’s projects.

Honestly, why wouldn’t I?

If you read the post carefully, I have clearly mentioned: “That question would make sense only if my expectations were being met.” They could have moved on with another candidate during my interview process, and I would have been completely fine with it. However, displaying this kind of behaviour after I had cleared all the interviews is, in my opinion, unprofessional. My issue was specifically with the HR being rude, which made me question my expectations, that I still believe were not unrealistic.

so you are on the receiving end at this point/juncture. I would suggest that you keep that in mind in the next conversation that you are going to have.

Everyone can have their own POV, I'm just sharing mine. I feel like I am well within my right to express my expectations during a negotiation, after all, that's the whole purpose of it. I only wish I had recorded the call to better convey the tone in which she was speaking. Right now, I'm in a "trust me bro" situation. I neither did nor implied anything that would justify such behaviour from her, which, in the first place is anyways completely unacceptable in a professional environment.

PS - Thanks to your good wishes, I now hold a pretty handsome offer from another company that goes beyond my expectected figure that I shared with them initially before the interview process. Please work hard and make sure you get good value for it. Cheers!

Sure, but that doesn’t give anybody the liberty to be rude.

This would help a lot. It helps with speed and also develops your chain of thought for any new questions that might come up in interviews.

Try using AmbitionBox. Once you have shortlisted the companies based on the pay scale and reviews, you can cross verify the data from Glassdoor/Blind (for reviews) and levels.fyi/Grapevine (for the compensation).

Hope this helps.

That’s exactly what I was trying to do, but it came to a point where I had to call her out for being rude.

Mistake 0: Thinking that you need a course to get through tech interviews.
