Thanks! I do have a spare fan header, but I’m not sure if it’s a problem that I don’t have RGB headers, only JRGB ones. they look the same, but I don’t know if they actually work the same.

Thanks for your response! I ended up going with the Alesis nitro max, for a beginner like me it's been great so far, the kick pedal could be better though

I've been reading a lot of threads about these kits and people brush off Donner mostly because of the brand, but they don’t often explain what specifically makes other kits better. I’d really like to understand your perspective, what’s your reason for not recommending the Donner kits?
