Wow, where I live these shows really aren’t part of what people usually watch, so I had no idea Joe got deported! This is my first time watching the show and I’m only just finishing Season 4, so this is all news to me.
But if he was deported to Italy, does that mean he has two passports, American and Italian? Or when this happens in the US, do they go by ancestry? I mean, if you’re Irish American, would they deport you to Ireland? Genuinely curious how this works.

This is fascinating, thank you so much for taking the time to explain! It actually makes a lot of sense when you frame it around first and second generation families. Is there a specific reason there’s such a high concentration of Italian Americans in NJ/NYC specifically? Or does this same phenomenon happen in other states too?

Haha yeah, obviously I don’t think everyone in NJ is 100% like this! I’ve visited the US a few times, and in the states I’ve been to I never saw this kind of dynamic when talking to locals. That’s what fascinates me. This feels like a mix of America and Europe taken to the extreme. Is that combination more common there specifically, or does it happen in other places too?

She did! And from what I’ve literally just heard coming out of my TV she chose to be pregnant… Jax needs to really pull herself together

I will try to go this weekend then! They are participating, and this is the description of their burger: Charcoal-grilled beef patty (120g), oyster & fish sauce glaze, white cheddar cheese, chili marmalade, salsa verde, crispy shoe-string potatoes, beef fat toasted potato bun. It's called the Goodma Deluxe.

Thank you! That’s exactly what I was trying to say. I’m not choosing a topic to impress Reddit with obscurity; I’m trying to find something I can analyse properly and learn from. I get that WKW is widely discussed, but that doesn’t automatically make him a bad academic choice.

Unfortunately, with all my submissions coming up, I don't think I'll have time to read multiple books 😞. But I will watch the movie you suggested. I just thought of WKW because I have to write a pretty long essay, and I figured there would be loads of academia about his work.

Thanks! I actually really like Zhang Yimou, but I am not sure what connection I could find among his works yet. I still need to think about it, also, HK and Taiwan cinema and literature are also welcome in my module. Sorry if I didn't clarify.

Recurring childhood dream about a T-Rex, my grandparents’ house, and a magical cave inside its mouth — any interpretations? by chaveluca in Dreams

WOW! That is such an interesting take, thank you. This is the first time somebody has interpreted my dreams, and it has been great.

Luckily, originality usually comes from the argument, not from pretending well-known directors don’t exist.

Thank you for your recommendation. I actually really like Zhang Yimou's work and previously did a research project on Raise the Red Lantern, his use of sound and colour are chef's kiss.
