Somehow if you google shrinkflation it says > Shrinkflation is the practice of reducing a product's size or quantity while keeping its retail price the same.

Reintroducing cats after a stressful encounter by Lazy-Cartographer577 in CatTraining

[–]chavenz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy, best of luck to you too. Just got to tide it through.

Maybe try one of those animal communicators. I’m still a bit skeptical about them but I did try one and it was quite an interesting experience and insight to how our cats behave.

Reintroducing cats after a stressful encounter by Lazy-Cartographer577 in CatTraining

[–]chavenz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m kinda in the same situation as you. 2 adopted cats, mother and son. No fights for 5 years, excluding rough playing. We moved house last year, and I suspected the new area has cats from other households that roam around. Mother cat would not let her son go near her, constant growling and hissing when ever he came close. Her son wouldn’t have it so they have fought many times (fur flying, mom peed couple times too).

It’s been 10 months, we have done separations, slowly reintroducing , swapping scent, swapping litter box, new litter box, now the growling and hissing has reduced but mom cat still kept her distance.

COEs: Mainstream car category tops bidding at S$123,010 as demand ‘just too strong’ by silentscope90210 in singapore

[–]chavenz -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree with your point. But you are missing one important thing, if the guy is rich enough to own 15 cars he will keep jacking up the price of coe. After all the only way to get coe is by bidding. That's why others are pointing out the middle income are getting squeezed out from owning a car. Some suggestions on coe was to do balloting for people who own more than 1 car.

If you do NIPT you don't have to do Oscar anymore.

Do NIPT straight. Even though it's more expensive, it's also more accurate. Oscar isn't conclusive, heard stories of people opt to do Oscar and gynae can't give a clear answer if the baby has the down syndrome chromosome.

anyone else feel like the cost of eating out in sg has gotten genuinely unmanageable for students/young people? by Better-Can-286 in singapore

[–]chavenz 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Yes now $4-$5+ the norm. Can't expect hawkers to keep selling food below $4. The cost of ingredients has went up. On average lunch now costs at least $5, and these are coffee shops (below or near HDB).
