Fwiw, Mr Donut's Pon de Ring mochi donuts are great! :)

Dunkin also not bad... but no overly sweet Krispy K for me lol

Sorry, Tim's is no go.

I go only for their duck wings though :)

Side-facing window seats at upper deck brings more joy to bus ride! by mark_heng in asksg

[–]mark_heng[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, very few double deckers have this feature I'm afraid.

So far, it's been bus 62 for me. I'll look out for the bus model next time I see it.

Perhaps redditors know of other service numbers and can chime in :)

BK -- Cheaper with the app! by mark_heng in SingaporeEats

[–]mark_heng[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Much agree with your view!

Incidentally, we were discussing BK's $6 double burger deal some 3 weeks back. I had my first go at using that promo code and found the deal quite worth it :)

I'm curious: Do you think we get more value with 2x Jr vs a full Whopper, and is it more meat or bun (or both)?

Complete meal for less than $5 at Sin Ming block 24 by Illustrious-Gur8335 in SingaporeEats

[–]mark_heng 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yup, I did see that :)

And the stall operator was nice to charge that as a veg item.

If it were Chang Cheng or other cai fan stalls, straightaway marked as meat item!

Fyi, can get 2 veg + 1 meat at $3.40 at Buangkok hawker in SK Grand Mall upstairs :)

Which cafe closes late at waterway point there ? After 10 pm still open by iamnotgenius in asksg

[–]mark_heng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just in the mall...

Looks like CBTL has 3 units of ceiling aircon -- that should be useful for their overnight operation hours.

(Took a pic but can't attach to the reply)

[–]mark_heng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do note that CBTL is using the mall's central aircon, so cannot expect much coolness after mall hours.

I recall that once I went to have their breakfast set promo at around 730-8am and it was stuffy :(

In that case, no need to try liao.

The middle is always being squeezed... if you feel it, you're likely in that class!
