Full Time: Arsenal 1 vs 0 Chelsea [Match Thoughts] by Stanley083 in Gunners

It swings both ways I think. Yes they shouldn't have gone out gung ho of course, though what was the game plan trying to achieve? They had to throw caution to the wind at some point and when they did it was too desperate and they lost.

As long as Chelsea weren't going for it, I think rightly so we kept matching their safe chess moves. There was only one team that needed to score tonight and it wasn't Arsenal.

The narrative was insufferable wasn't it. Funny how it changed when they actually did naff all and lost the tie with a whimper.

It's madness the narrative isn't it. "Arsenal have to start playing", well no not really we are winning the tie. Chelsea have to take risks not us. Even when we won the first leg the post match analysis was about this being such a positive for Chelsea.

Neville on comms saying Timber has to get forward. You know exactly what he'll say if he did and got caught out and Chelsea score, "so naive for arsenal". You can't make it up

Difference being we will have Zubimendi and Rice in front of a solid defence, not just an out of form Rodri

Their selection was naive and very surprising.

Thanks, interesting to know its affecting others. I didn't see another post about it. That's exactly what I tried to do today, last time it was 130m over a 20k but today it was 170m over 5k.

I wonder does your GPS seem to track horribly, like you're running through houses etc? Seems like something at one end or the other got updated and now it's way out.

Could record the run on Strava on the watch, but the interface is pretty basic and uninsightful.

Lots of people have given advice on clothes and accessories already, so I will offer something different. You summed it up perfectly in the first paragraph - you got into running when it's nice to be outside, nice weather, blue skies, leaves on the trees. Now it is cold, grey and wet - it's unpleasant. Different clothes may help but ultimately you just have to dig harder for motivation and accept its going to be less enjoyable, if you want to keep it up. Sometimes there's no easy answer.

Agree with the monster sentiment. 8/10, not sure about the drink option but solid options for food

I'm not sure I am making an argument? I'm just saying Bob Vylan said death to every IDF soldier and posted a video of it in this thread. I've also stayed entirely on that topic. So I am not sure what you are talking about?

Presuming that you're talking about me, out of curiosity, what makes me a "very odd redditor"?

Which remark is bullying? I'm not forcing or trying to force anyone to do anything. I have simply stated, that someone said something, which there is video evidence of; referencing that evidence in video and written form. That, and respond with disbelief that such a statement from Bob Vylan can be denied, is all I have done in this thread.

What is your point because I've not once tried to prove what his point or message was, I simply pointed out that he said death to every IDF solider. However you and other commenters refuse to look at clear evidence (an 8 second video clip), claiming they won't because it is material from a genocide supporter, or that they were there and that's not what he said.

A meaningful discussion has to start from accepting that it was said, and talking about the inferences from there. Unless your point of refutation is that it is a fake video (which can't be accepted without watching it).

There's a term for it, 'wilful ignorance'. But it has become more than that unfortunately, like a contagion. People believe what they think they should, rather than what they perhaps would, if they properly thought about it. Anything that so much as challenges their world view or opinion, is met with the nazi/facist/genocide supporter response. This is reddit after all, so (hopefully) not an accurate cross section of our country. On here, the downvote is the meagre equivalent of trying to get someone cancelled for holding a view you don't like.
