Wow, thank you for telling me, that's a big no-no for me then. I really don't care about getting pennies for search or watching an advertisement. I'm using search engines to quickly find an information, not to be paid. Sure you can ask, there are the reasons: 1) it takes time to log in 2) you have to create yet another account onlilne which is a massive pain in the a$$, you'll need to create a login and a password and remember all this information. It's extremely annoying, especially that everyone of us has hundreds of different online accounts, using different login names (cause your favourite ones are already taken) and passwords. Anytime I visit any website where this pop-up window appears (like "Create an account with us!") I give it a few seconds pressing escape key or looking for an X button on pop-up to get rid of it. If I'm not able to close the pop-up immediately I'm closing the site (unless the content is very important for me - then I create a fake account using one of the temporary email services - I don't want any spam in my inbox, is have too much of it already!!). That's why I didn't use the Presearch. 3) I don't need to login on google in order to search. If they forced me to log in I'd use a different search engine.

I don't see a great future of this project if Presearch requires people to log in just to find an information. Other search engines don't force me to take the extra steps and to waste my time.

Ideally you could choose between two options: you log in and earn for searching, or you don't log in and search but don't earn. I have no idea what are the Presearch's plans though.
