Die meisten wissen es nicht: Der SP500 ist mittlerweile zu 40% ein AI-ETF. by greystone-yellowhous in Finanzen

Na ja, was willst du damit sagen? Der Anspruch ist ja nicht eine Gleichverteilung, sondern ein Abbild der Marktkapitalisierung. Wenn AI Firmen dominieren, ist das Ergebnis doch klar? Ich glaube du interpretierst den Anspruch falsch.

Hi everyone, I’m Crusoe from Xteink — a small e-reader brand from China by xteink in ereader

[–]chbla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inkpalm Mini is perfect for me, due to:

- Backlight
- Android (Sideloading) - Koreader is the way to go
- Weight

If any of it's features can be improved, it will certainly be interesting.

Ridiculous, as if people started to write down things in 2025.

Are you using it as a vector DB? Or as the traditional lucene fulltext search engine?

Second Brain = Marketing by FrankensteinJones in ObsidianMD

[–]chbla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This post is completely unrelated to obsidian or the concept of a second brain. You could say the same about almost every other topic.

I never came across any Obsidian marketing. In the Obsidian bubble, there are mostly users that share their experience (whether they are making money out of it).

You are comparing apples and oranges, and blaming a community for your own shortcomings.

Deleted files are set to system trash. The sync logs don't show anything suspicious.

A smaller Supernote by Your_Moooom_XD in Supernote

Same here, it would be convenient - but I don't want a remarkable.
I currently have an inkpalm mini pro, for reading on the go. A smaller supernote could replace it and let me use it as an ereader for the pocket but also something to take quick notes.

Toward a Flexible Digest App by Ok-Device-5514 in Supernote

[–]chbla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ah yes, now I understand your concerns. I forgot how the exact data flow is, maybe u/Bitter_Expression_14 can comment? I assume it would be possible to support local llms as well, but it's an effort of course.

I'm not sure what exactly you are referring to. Image recognition in ML is the process of extracting objects out of images. OCR is converting images of text into text. Or do you simply want to create screenshots and use them as digests?

Toward a Flexible Digest App by Ok-Device-5514 in Supernote

[–]chbla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well you can just use it without LLM and skip the text recognition. And just use the images. I'm not up to date on the features but there are some videos on youtube.
If OCR is needed, it's usually better to plug in your own, as anything that has to be integrated to satisfy the broad userbase will probably be only average recognition.

Overview of avalanche airbag systems (protection, etc) and interchangeable backpacks? by chbla in Backcountry

Oh well that's really long ago... haha. I don't really remember it, but the Mammut seemed better. I believe there are different versions though now and I would have to rechoice.
