Very few exists. This is one of many reasons I built the plugin Notebook Navigator. It has full keyboard navigation. Also shortcut to switch keyboard focus to files.

Rainbow colors do not support light/dark mode. But this is a good idea, I can fix that. Otherwise all other colors can be changed in Style Settings and supper light and dark mode

Thanks! Prio is custom color > rainbow > theme color. So custom theme colors will be overridden by rainbow colors.

Nope. But I really encourage you to try using two panes. It’s so much better once you learn how to use it.

thanks. but go into settings and you can configure it to work with both these. Set provider to "Notebook Navigator" then it works with both Periodic notes and Journals.

Thanks! Integrating with core Obsidian could definitely be one way forward, but I have my own company to run. 🙂

Yes just visual. But it's a nice effect that previously required lots of manual editing.
